About the Role
As a Backend Developer Supabase PostgreSQL, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the core backend infrastructure that supports our web applications. You will work closely with frontend developers and product designers to build efficient, reliable, and secure APIs and database solutions.

Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain backend systems powered by Supabase and PostgreSQL
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries to ensure high performance
- Develop RESTful and real-time APIs for seamless frontend integration
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers to deliver integrated solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented backend code
- Monitor and troubleshoot backend issues, ensuring uptime and reliability
- Stay current with backend technologies, security best practices, and emerging tools
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design
- Proficiency in working with Supabase or similar Backend-as-a-Service (BaaS) platforms
- Solid understanding of API design, authentication, and authorization workflows
- Experience writing efficient SQL queries and optimizing database performance
- Familiarity with backend development best practices and code quality standards
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
- Passion for building scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Node.js, Python, or other backend programming languages
- Familiarity with frontend technologies like Vue.js or Quasar for better collaboration
- Basic understanding or curiosity about AI API integrations and automation
- Knowledge of containerization or cloud deployment (e.g., Docker, AWS, Vercel)
